Impacto de la sequía en la calidad del agua de riego de viñas

El estudio constituyó la primera fase de una investigación que se ha realizado durante las últimas tres temporadas, y midió la salinidad del agua utilizada en 18 viñas, reflejando que un 17% de las muestras se ubicó en zonas de riesgo medio, y un 10% en zonas de riesgo alto.

En la segunda etapa se incorporaron análisis de cationes (Na, Ca, Mg) y aniones (CI, SO4, HCO3, CO3), y en la fase más reciente se estudió la relación con la disminución prolongada de las precipitaciones y el aumento en la salinidad.

Este 19 de octubre se realizará el primer encuentro de “Avances Recientes”, dedicado a cerezos, donde junto a la especialista del UC Cooperative Extension, Kosana Suvocarev, expondrán los renombrados académicos e investigadores Marlene Ayala de la Pontificia Universidad Católica, Jaime Auger y Claudio Osorio, de la Universidad de Chile, y Michelle Morales, del Centro de estudios avanzados en Fruticultura.
