The Bioethics and Law Observatory of the Universidad del Desarrollo and UC Davis Chile Life Sciences Innovation Center have just opened registrations for the online course "New trends in Agro-Biotech, a look from intellectual property and technology transfer", which will be held from April 12 to 28, 2021.

Interview with Rodrigo Riquelme about NASA's MAIA project in Radio Usach

On Tuesday, March 30, Rodrigo Riquelme, Partnership Coordinator of UC Davis Chile was invited to the program All You Need is LAB of Radio Usach and hosted by journalists Nadia Politis and Ivan Rimassa. 

During the interview Rodrigo talked about NASA's MAIA project, and the importance for the country to have the support of the authorities to implement it and learn more about how pollution affects those of us who live in Chile.

Last Friday, May 7, the UC Davis Chile Extension and Innovation Program was launched. In the activity, held via streaming, María Emilia Undurraga, Minister of Agriculture; Mauricio Cañoles, General Manager of UC Davis Chile; Tomás Labbé, fruit tree advisor, and Raimundo Arnaiz, walnut producer and General Manager of Agrícola Vista Volcán participated as panelists.

UC Davis Chile changes office and relocates its laboratories

As response to the challenges of 2020 and the need to give continuity to research and projects, at the end of last year, UC Davis Chile moved its laboratory equipment to the INIA Regional Research Center, La Platina, in La Pintana.  

The move, carried out thanks to the signing of a joint work agreement, seeks to contribute to the interaction between researchers and strengthening the work between the two organizations.
