UC Davis Chile Life Sciences Innovation Center

Last Friday, May 7, the UC Davis Chile Extension and Innovation Program was launched. In the activity, held via streaming, María Emilia Undurraga, Minister of Agriculture; Mauricio Cañoles, General Manager of UC Davis Chile; Tomás Labbé, fruit tree advisor, and Raimundo Arnaiz, walnut producer and General Manager of Agrícola Vista Volcán participated as panelists.

The economic losses caused by grapevine trunk diseases, was the central theme of the Extension Talk held on December 17, in which we had Jonathan Kaplan from UC Davis and Gerardo Leal, manager of viticulture at Santa Rita and Carmen´s vineyards. 

Para el 3 de agosto está fijado el lanzamiento del primer módulo de una serie de actividades de entrenamiento online dirigidos a productores, administradores y asesores de ciruelo europeo.

La iniciativa, organizada por la Universidad de California Davis en Chile y Prunova, se enmarca en el Programa de Extensión e Innovación de Ciruelo Europeo que busca generar innovación en el rubro.
