Some of his positions have been consultant for technology transfer of patents of the Department of Electricity of the University of Chile, Managing Partner of EtechBrokers EIRL, and Branch Manager for the Southern Cone of National Instruments Corp. of Austin, Texas, USA. In his beginnings as a professional, he held various positions in the Fondef projects of the USM and its spin-offs.
