Successful International Research Conference at UC Davis, California
This September 17 and 18, leaders in research, international education, government and industry converged at UC Davis with a common purpose: developing innovative strategies for international research within today’s rapidly changing political and research environments. Among the lecturers, Christian Nicolai, Executive Director of the the Chilean National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (Conicyt), addressed the audience on the subject of strengthen human capital and development through innovation in Chile, and Dr. Ariel Orellana, Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation at University Andrés Bello, talked about the challenges of young private universities in South America for establishing research networks and training students.
