On January 9, the Doctor and researcher in Bioproducts from UC Davis Chile, Patricio Muñoz, who works in laboratories of the University of Tarapacá, was part of the first Conectagro seminar, organized by the National Agronomy Society in Arica.

In the activity, which aimed to promote innovation and the incorporation of technology in agriculture to achieve production in accordance with current environmental, commercial and competitive challenges, the scientist was invited to share his experience and discuss about pending tasks in this area.

In the seminar also participated the director of the Institute of Agricultural Research of Peru (INIA), David Casanova; the chemist researcher from the University of Tarapacá, Claudio Parra and the director of Wiki Labs, Patricio Arias.

Thus, this seminar opened a cycle of regional meetings that will take place in Punta Arenas, La Serena, Talca, Santiago and Osorno during the year.
