A biotechnology engineer with a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Andrés Bello, she has nearly ten years of experience at UC Davis Chile, where her career has evolved from scientific research and laboratory management to strategic partnerships, academic engagement, project coordination, and institutional communications.

With a research background in plant biotechnology, molecular biology, and applied research, Gabriela brings a scientific perspective to the development of partnerships and collaborative initiatives. In her current role, she works to strengthen connections between UC Davis and partners in Chile, facilitating collaboration among researchers, universities, industry, government agencies, and other organizations.

Her work includes identifying and developing opportunities for research and academic collaboration, coordinating institutional and academic engagement, supporting multidisciplinary research and innovation initiatives, and fostering international partnerships and knowledge exchange.
