Intelectual Property and Technology Transfer Coordinator
Patricia is joining the UC Davis Chile team to contribute with her experience in the development of technology-based businesses: evaluation of business opportunities and management of innovation projects, intellectual property and technology transfer. In addition, search and management of financing sources, development of national and international collaboration networks, creation and leadership of work teams to which she is adding her knowledge of the Lean Startup methodology.
Patricia is an agronomist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, with a degree in Innovation and Technology Management from Notre Dame University (United States), in Intellectual Property Management at UC Davis and in Intellectual Property in plant genetic resources protection at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). She has held management functions in public institutions (such as Odepa, INDAP and FIA), private institutions (such as Fundación Copec-UC and Watt’s) and trade associations (National Association of Seed Producers, ANPROS).
